About Dr. Sanaz Sadry

Dr. Sanaz Sadry is the orthodontic specialist working with Genç Dental, and one of the reasons full-mouth implant cases at our clinic come out looking naturally aligned rather than obviously restored. Orthodontic thinking sits quietly behind every well-planned implant case — how the bite aligns, how the teeth sit against the lip, how the finished smile matches the face rather than fighting it. That’s her remit.

Her academic record is unusually deep for a private practice. From 2019 to 2021, she served as Head of Orthodontics at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry, and she’s remained a Faculty Board Member there since 2019 — combining university-level research with clinical work in a way most overseas dentists don’t get near. Alongside the teaching, she assistant-edits the Aydın Dental Journal and presides over the university’s Scientific Research Club.

The training record tracks two of the global names in modern orthodontic practice. She’s completed the “Systemised and Effective Orthodontic Care” course under Dr. Richard P. McLaughlin — the American orthodontist ranked among US News’ patient top choices and known worldwide for the MBT bracket system. Further skeletal anchorage training followed with Dr. Benedict Wilmes in 2014, bringing her practice up to the current frontier of orthodontic mechanics.

Where her CV genuinely stands out is innovation. Dr. Sadry holds eight Turkish national patents and five international PCT patents, covering everything from an upper jaw expansion device to vegan whitening paste to mucoadhesive film for oral healing. In 2017, she was awarded the Innovation Prize at the 15th International Innovation Exhibition ARCA in Zagreb for the “SMART Expander” device — a rare recognition of original contribution to the field from within a Turkish university programme. Her research projects have focused on Class III malocclusion treatment and the biomechanics of rapid maxillary expansion.

Professional memberships reflect the international reach of her practice: the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, and the Turkish Orthodontic Society. For UK patients flying in for implant work, her involvement means the aesthetic alignment and bite balance of your finished case are considered from day one — not handed over as an afterthought once the implants are in.
